You know, this is the first I've heard of this. Could someone link to this particular DVD?? Perhaps a listing on amazon.co.uk??

Having a region-free player, I'm definitely interested in picking up an unedited version of MFC, especially considering my tape version is going the way of all good video tapes and slowly degrading.

That's not entirely true. There is still some material not in the R2 DVD, albeit a very small amount.
