According to the Internet Movie Database, Joe Ranft, of Disney and Pixar fame was killed in a car accident. Ranft had worked on such memorable films as The Brave Little Toaster, The Toy Story Series, Monster's Inc., Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles to name a few. He has also done voice acting of such characters as Wheezy the Squeaky Penguin, and Jaques the Cleaner Shrimp. Joe, your work will never be forgotten.

Indeed it will not. Jacques was a high point of Nemo for me, and his writing (which went back to "Little Mermaid") was amazing.

RIP Joe. We'll miss you.

Wow! This is sad news. Joe Ranft was a very talented story man. Let's not forget that he also voiced Heimlich the Caterpillar in Disney/Pixar's A Bug's Life.

That is really sad. A man who brought much to children and adult entertainment... is gone. It's sad to see so many people go lately..He is in my memories ..and I pray for his family.
