WHAT? Sesame Street's getting ANOTHER new opening/closing sequence? The hip-hop intro was only introduced two years ago!

But then again, Sesame Street did get a new opening sequence for its 30th season (that "retro" intro with kids playing with Big Bird in Central Park).

Now we can say the 2007 hip-hop opening was the most short-lived Sesame Street opening sequence.
Dang, I liked that opening, probably my 2nd favourite. Oh well.

Yeah, that's a big middle finger to Jim right there. Of course, this isn't surprising at all, considering this is Disney we're talking about.
But remember that Disney is not part of the Sesame Street Muppets.
