So this is something that kind of popped in my head after @Oscarfan made an article on the Muppet wiki on Muppet media referencing/joking on the myth of getting warts from touching frogs or toads.
It makes me curious - because I have a bad frog and toad phobia, I refuse to ever make any physical contact with them unless you paid me good money. But has anyone here ever had an instance of getting a wart from touching either amphibian?
I've heard more stories of toads giving warts because of their rough skin, whereas frogs are less likely since they have a smoother moist one (ugh... I get grossed out just thinking of the fact that they create a mucus to breathe above water on their skin.
).
