In MONSTERS, INC., Mike and Sully get banished into the human world after they end up uncovering the secret plot that both Randall and Waternoose were behind in kidnapping children and extracting screams from them, but they manage to find their way back into the monster world anyway by coming through a closet during a scaring session.

So after Mike and Sully toss Randall into a closet, then smash that door afterwards, wouldn't Randall be able to just return to the monster world the same way? By finding another closet during a scaring session?

Wouldn't Randall have to come back through the same door?If the door gets smashed into splinters, wouldn't he have to put the pieces back together to return?

BTW, Monsters Inc. is great. Back in early 2001 on our honeymoon, we got to see a few sneak peeks of what Disney was coming up with next. One was Monsters Inc., the other was LILO and Stitch.

Well, Mike and Sully didn't come back through the same door after they were banished, which is why I was raising the question: what's stopping Randall from finding another door being used, and during a scaring session (or even a laughter session)? Otherwise, if the door was smashed or shredded, he just wouldn't be able to return through that specific door.

Sporange. It’s a botanical term for a sac where spores are made.
