So since I'm not exactly a sports guy, maybe a sports nut can explain something to me: I've noticed whenever a group of people are watching a big game on TV, at least one person in the group is sitting with a ball in their lap as they watch the game . . . like if it's a basketball game, someone will have a basketball in their lap; if it's a football game, someone will have a football in their lap; etc. Any specific reason for this?
