I'm with travellingpat on that one. I could double check, but am almost positive Fat Blue was performed by David Rudman.

wow that is interesting, why would Rubannas do fat blue? i know Jerry was sick at the time but he could have dub it. if you really listen to fat blue it really does sound like Brian Henson.

according to Muppet wiki, he did: "David Rudman performed him in The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland, though Jerry Nelson dubbed most of his lines."
