Maybe if they wanted to stick to a covering material, they could go for a very tight knit crochet material, like a body scrub glove, which gives it a holey appearance.Better than the stocking look anyway.

I'd definately be up for that as long as they can get it to look right!

Why don't they just use Antron Fleece and airbrush it a little, then call it good. I would be happy with just that.

I'd be fine with that as well. I guess I'm not too terribly picky what they use...as long as it looks decent.

All I know is that any fabric covering won't look right. It's just too dominant a feature to mess with like that.

Personally, I'd be willing to give a little on the "total twistability" of his nose, as long as we can fiddle with it a little to give him expression.. and I'd be willing to let them get away with not using the proper foam, as long as it looks close, and good.,...
my big worry is that they aren't going to get this figured out and we won't get him.. and even worse.. we won't get Piggy, cuz they're going to have the same problem with her head.. (which, come on, they flock to look like fleece anyway, so just use fleece, I say.....)

Yeah I'm kind of afraid that Gonzo's going to be a no(se) show.
Personally, I'm all for something that LOOKS good enough. I think what MuppetPerson suggested would work if they could get the coloring of the material right.
I'm anxious to see how MasterReplicas handles this problem.

Quick question ~ Anyone know how tall Fozzie's going to be?
I was gonna ask how tall Terry is and then try and figure out how tall Fozzie was until it occured that I could just ask how tall Fozzie is.

i read somewhere that fozzie will be 44 inches tall and animal will be 38 inches tall
