So with Gonzo's nose causing so many problems, I was wondering if Master Replicas would just have him step aside and make room for other Photo Prop Replicas until the blue weirdo's ready to cooperate? :embarrassed: :concern:

It is possible since they did it already with Animal. I would not be suprised if they jump Fozzie over Gonzo.

I went to Joann's on saturday to look at this Foam and I am sad to say, But it is reticulated foam(Scott Foam) So it is the same foam that the real and proto gonzo's are made of. I told Terry I would look into this foam and well we are back at square one.
That really sucks.

But Fozzie looks terrific of course! Great job Terry, as always. Your Kermit is perfect too! I bet he's a lot of fun.

Hi Bear man,

Stiple sponge is reticulated foam, It's just in black or red most of the time.

Sorry,

Mike

There's got to be something out there. This is so frustrating.

I still think that textured moulded plastic/vinyl is the way to go.

I don't get how Kermit can have foam on the inside but Gonzo can't have a foam nose on the outside.

(CLUNK!)

(Picks jaw up off the floor).

These...are...incredible! These Fozzie pictures are even more amazing than the previous ones! Fozzie just paid Terry another visit and gave him a copy of the Muppet Show Season 2! Awesome!

Seriously, I hope that you send Frank Oz these photos. He would be so proud of your work! When oh when will these Fozzies be available? I love Fozzie, and he hasn't gotten the best treatment when represented three-dimensionally.

So, I'd like to say to all the Muppet fans out there lookin' for a decent Fozzie. Which one would you rather get:

Terry's Fozzie...or "Brand X"?

Thought so.

Terry, I have my Kermit and I'm sure Jim Henson would've loved him. He's truly one of my all-time favorite Muppet collectibles. My order for Animal went out months ago. I'm waiting, checkbook in hand, for Fozzie and Gonzo to be ready for pre-order. I hope the day comes when my home has each character from MR's Muppet replicas series. Keep makin' em, Terry! Your craftsmanship is truly outstanding. Jim Henson would love that you're continuing to make so many Muppet fans happy with your work.

Because the foam that's inside Kermit would not look right for Gonzo's nose. It's denser and less porous, so it takes way longer to break down, but that also gives it almost a smooth finish, not right for Gonzo.

Here's another idea...

Okay, so just as long as it looks like foam, everyone's cool with that, right?

Well...the nose on the Palisades Gonzos (not the earler ones, the later ones) looked spot on. Is there a way to just enlarge the Mega Gonzo nose (pattern-wise) to fit the replica and have it made out of the same kind of plastic? It could be hollow and injected with foam so it isn't heavy.

Just a thought.
