Prayers for my Cousin

Hopefully he will get to stay in California a while. I hope this situation gets better. We'll keep you in our prayers.

David just called today, and he is heading out to Kuwait today. I'm not sure whether he expects to be there the whole six months or to go somewhere else. He said that it's usually about 105 degrees there. Yikes! I don't think I could handle that. I hope everything goes okay over there.

I know all the ins and outs of what you must be feeling, Erin. My husband just passed his 16-year mark in the Navy and although I HATE the separations (the most recent being a deployment with an indefinite return date!), I am still standing in awe of his courage. He believes that this is what God has called him to do. We have close friends in every aspect of our great country's military force and are proud to add David to our prayer lists! Be strong and trust in God - easy to say, hard to do.

We just got word that David is now in Fallujah. He talked to my aunt on the phone a couple weeks ago, so as of then he was fine. He also said he'd had to wait weeks to call because everybody was desperate to call home. I hope that Christmas manages to find him there and that he'll be back here again before too terribly long.
