IT WORKED! Cool.

So in Firefox, right click on image and select "Copy Image Location". Then click on little tree icon here and paste that URL and it took it!

Thank You to everyone who replied! I'm so thrilled I know how to post an image now.

I have one saved on my computer, but not online or using a URL. How do I post it?

Post it first into a third-party image hosting site, (like photobucket), and copy and paste the url code in.

When Google-searching for an image, I usually look for the proper pixel resolution size, and then I right-click on the image, selecting the "Open Image in New Tab" option from the right-click menu.

Whenever I click on the "insert image" prompt, it asks me to enter the image URL, and just to be certain, I usually type in http:// before highlighting and dragging/pasting the web address in the prompt bar, and my images have usually shown up most of the time since pre-typing the http:// before dragging the URL into the "Insert Image" prompt; before that, some pictures appeared as blank thumbnails when I did it without typing the http:// in front of the address.

I hope this little helpful tip works out for those whose images may not be showing up, especially if you're using the Google Chrome browser.....

for people with chrome, get the Image Properties Context Menu extension. It will add a thing to view the size. Of course, that has nothing to do with getting the url of the image.

Right click, and click copy image url or in firefox copy image location to get the url. That's it
