And when the other two look at each other and say "Uh-oh" the implications would start to sink into the Muppet audience and when they next say "Watch your step" and "Yeah. Yeah." they'd begin to understand the dark humour involved.
I can vouch that in response to the leader piggy's "Watch your step" line there is definitely a voice saying "Hear what he said?"
Also another voice saying something else I can't quite make out. I thought it sounded something like "That'll do."
I think he may be responding to the middle piggy's "Yeah. Yeah." line.
He seems to be saying either "That he'll do" or perhaps "Bet he'll do it" then laughs saying "Watch your step" Hahahaha.
Well it may seem like loose bad grammar in some ways, but it does make a sound theory, doesn"t it?
I do really like the "Hear what he said?" in response to the "Watch your step line"... that's still one of my favorites, for some reason. It definitely makes it stand out more, which is awesome! And makes it seem more natural.
Your theory for the "That'll do" or "That he'll do" line makes a lot of sense. I like the idea of "That he'll do" the best, I think it flows great. And laughing saying "Watch your step" is just hilarious! They're havin' fun!
Lol, bad grammar... well, that works better, I think, because in the audience, they're sitting back and just letting these thoughts come to them (generally speaking) so they're saying whatever comes to their mind in the order it comes. Doesn't always make the most sense, but hey, that's the Muppets for ya!
I'm loving the updates for what they said, Marty, and I can't wait to hear more!
