I don’t think “Shining Time Station” would have been a first-thought for putting out at all given how Thomas was just often seen as a series of videos that comes out in stores by the early 00s before episodes actually started airing on TV again as its own series on PBS.

If all of 1-5 were to air, I would imagine it just being the restored prints on their own. But since it’s just the half-hour blocks, then that’s telling me it’s all just Michael Brandon narrations.

Yeah, I’ll pass there.

Yes, I definitely see what you're saying. I was pleased with how PBS Kids Sprout handled airing Thomas & Friends several years ago, as they struck a good balance between the classic episodes and the HiT Entertainment episodes.
