No you're right... they are successful for sure. I just don't find them interesting, despite all that goes into glossing them up.
I thought the first film was great, well done. The rest...completely and utterly unnecessary!Overrated... Pirates of the Caribbean series. I get the whole Johnny Depp thing... he's pretty good as the drunken pirate captain, but 4 movies? The story just isn't that interesting.
If you thought that was bad, check out the movie "Percy Jackson."I swear... the fourth one came out of the fact that Sorcerer's Apprentice sucked on every level.
They're STILL trying to get rid of that Percy Jackson merchandise. I still find the AirHeads candy with special Percy flavors from time to time.If you thought that was bad, check out the movie "Percy Jackson."
Yet, believe it or not, they're going ahead with a butchering of the second book.If you thought that was bad, check out the movie "Percy Jackson."
Was it even profitable enough? Or did they have some sort of commitment to have to do all of the books?Yet, believe it or not, they're going ahead with a butchering of the second book.
Yes, it was. No, they didn't. The success of the first one was the number one factor in the sequel getting the go-ahead.Was it even profitable enough? Or did they have some sort of commitment to have to do all of the books?
