People tend to make a huge deal out of these things and panic because they see it on the news. When SARS was a problem last year everyone was afraid to come here to Toronto even though there was no real risk of contracting the disease unless you were directly exposed to someone who had it in the hospital. The CDC and the WHO seem to be on top of this situations so hopefully it won't be a big deal.

I sometimes wonder what people today would have done 50, 100 years ago when they had real epidemics.
