Did anyone ever notice that back when Sesame Street first premired, Oscar had somewhat of a New York accent? I think in the late 70's his voice started to phase into the way he sounds today. I wonder why Carroll didn't mention this in his book, and I wonder why he got rid of the accent. Did anyone else notice the accent he once had?
