Episode 31: The Return Of Queen Cleopatra

There's a nut loose in Egypt who wants to take over rulership using a lady robot posing as the resurrected ancient Egyptian ruler Cleopatra. If he succeeds he will conquer the entire nation and eventually all of Africa for starters.

It's up to Astro to prevent this scheme. If only he can make "Cleopatra" realize that she is a pawn in an evil game that will lead to many innocent people being hurt.

Stay tuned for more.

Episode 32: The Runaway Subway Train

Atlas is back to challenge Astro to a duel as revenge for spoiling his plan to melt all the icebergs in the world. Dr. Elefun and Daddy Walrus don't want Astro to risk his life fighting such a crazy robot so they hide him away.

Atlas is determined to fight though and so he threatens to cause a tragic accident on an underground railway system. He sends a train out of control endangering the lives of all on board including Alvin and three other good friends of Astro's: Kenneth, Theodore and Mindy. Watch and find out how Astro manages to save them while at the same time Atlas is attacking him to destroy him.

Atlas and Livian have a strange relationship. Atlas is always angry and upset when Livian opposes his plans, yet he never abuses her. And while Livian is clearly frightened of his evil nature she still cares for him deeply. It's interesting that even though their differences are so extreme never-the-less their love seems to be genuinely heartfelt.

Stay tuned for the next installment.

He calls his new little friend "Pook" and he must protect him from the hunters while trying to get Pook safely back home and protect other animals from wandering into such awful danger.

Episode 34: The Secret Of Bee City

Astro and Uran take a pleasure cruise to an island where there are plenty of bees. However they're soon caught up on a mysterious adventure. Bees are attacking people and the sting turns them into hypnotized slaves. A strange man has them working to build a powerful force to conquer the world for someone he calls Queen Mary. Who is this man and who is this Queen Mary?

Astro and Uran must find the answers to these perplexing questions while avoiding being captured and reprogrammed into slaves themselves.

I'll have the next episode up as soon as I can.

Episode 35: The Monster Of Clarken

Now Astro is helping underwater biology research to protect all the fish in the Golden Grotto from being wiped out by an invasion of hungry sharks. They're no match for Astro of course, but what will he do if the legendary sea monster known as the Monster of Clarken should also show up?

I'm well over half way through talking briefly about all the episodes now. Isn't it great?

Episode 36: Lilly On Peligro Island

Astro has discovered a whole heap of messages in glass jars in the sea near his home. They all say basically the same thing. A girl named Lilly pleads for help because her father is being worked to death on Peligro Island. Astro cannot find it anywhere on the map though and Mum and Dad figure it's all just a big joke.

Later in bed at night Astro has a feeling in his robotic heart that it's a genuine call for help. So he sneaks out and travels out to sea via his rocket jets to search for Peligro Island. Is he following a blind lead? Furthermore he is breaking the law. No robot is allowed to leave the country without official permission. If he is caught the penalty will be scrapping with no mercy.

Be sure to watch this mysterious episode. Discover the secret of Peligro Island and the outcome of the immense risk Astro is taking.

Next episode will be here soon.

Thanks Katie. You know at first I was considering doing in-depth reviews with a spoiler warning like when I reviewed my Sailor Moon DVDs, but I think this has worked the best in this case. Don't you agree Katie?

I'll carry on properly after I watch the next episode tonight and I do strongly suggest you order this series. It's well worth it.

Episode 37: The Anti-Proton Gun

The most dangerously powerful gun is being tested in outer space and Astro is assigned to put a stop to the experiment because no authorization has been granted for it.

Meanwhile Walpool Guiss wants to get the gun to conquer the Earth. Guiss is the original creator of Atlas. They had a falling out but Guiss makes contact with Atlas proposing a partnership if Atlas will steal the gun while it's being tried out on one of the moons of Jupiter. Atlas isn't interested in such a venture but when Guiss kidnaps Livian and holds her hostage for the gun he angrily obeys.

During the fight between Astro and Atlas for the anti-proton gun you will find out some background to Atlas including something that makes him essentially like a brother to Astro, though neither of them are aware of this. Livian finds out and tells Atlas when she escapes from Guiss back to the crystal. What is it and what's the whole outcome of the story? You must find out for yourselves.

The reviews will continue.
