1. who are your top five favorite/ least favorite figures?
Favourites - Animal, Floyd, Janice, Johnny Fiama, Pops
Least Favourites - Tux Fozzie, Miss Piggy, Lew Zealand, Hogthrob, Strangepork

2. were any figures better/ worse than you expected?
S9 Swedish Chef was way better than expected. I just thought they just made it so people who didn't want the whole Kitchen set but just the figure could get something. Now I realize that he is a great figure. Awesome articulation, sculpt, and accessories. Tux Fozzie was worse--leagues worse. His hat wouldn't go on right, the book was too small to read, and the paint was smudged on Fozzie and on the Book...I had high hopes for him, and he was the biggest letdown any toy line did for me. Also, Lips was worse. I was thinking--yes, another addition to the band. Sweet, he's got a trumpet, and Javas...I'm going to love it! However, the paint was wet on Lips, and when I took him out he smudged all over, and there is now a small black thumprint on his belly. It's small, but noticeable. The paint on the Javas was wet as well, and smudged. This was a WHITE SHIRT Lips, too, which was the most disappointing part of it.

3. which mega was your favorite/ least favorite?
Animal was pretty rad, never got the others, but they looked great. I don't think I would have disliked any of them...maybe Camilla.

4. what exclusives were your favorite/ least favorite?
Tux Gonzo and Bernice, hands down. Great sculpt, paint, articulation, accessories. The only downside was the price, but it was clearly worth the extra. Culinary Catastrophe Swedish Chef was great, too. The lobster banditos were some of the best accessories throughtout the line's run.

5. what minis are your favorite/ least favorite?
Doglion and Swedish Chef. I really like the packaging on the individuals.

6. what is your favorite/ least favorite playset?
Least favourite?? Don't think that's possible... The Lab set is great (glad I never got that supposed "goo", heh) and Beaker is so awesome. There are so many cool scenes you can create with it, and I'll never get tired of it. The Kitchen is AMAZING, just downright AMAZING. Words can't really describe my love to it. Swinetrek was a nice follow-up, and was astonishing in it's own way, but needed accessories. While all of these sets are sweet, I'd have to say, being the music geek that I am, I'd say my favourite is Animal's drum kit. I love the idea of having that mini band of Muppet figures. The EM stage is killer.

7. what give-away was your favorite/ least favorite?
Never got any, wanted Gold Tux Gozo, he looks nifty.

8. do you own every Muppets release from palisades?
Heavens no.

9. do you own every package variations?
See above.

10. what is one muppet production (not in palisades contract) that you would have liked to have been included in the line?
Muppets Cristmas Carol. The minis in 6" scale would have been amazing.

11. wat is your favorite/ least favorite repaint?
I personally don't like the idea of variants/repaints, and therefore my answer is "N/A".

12. what are your favorite non-pack-in accessories?
Piano and the rest of the instruments.

13. what is your favorite pack-in figure?
Camilla.

14. who are four characters you wish we could have gotten?
Bean Bunny, Bobo, Dr. Bob, and Sal. Soooooooo cliched.

15. of the characters planned for 2005, which one are you most upset over not
getting?

I'm not upset about anything, Palisades gave us all they could and I could not ask for more.

16. of the officially unannounced-for-release figures, which one do you wish we could have gotten?
Vet's Hospital.

17. if you could change one thing about the line, what would it be?
Had the whole run with clamshells.

least favortie accessories

I can't beleive that I forgot to ask about what your least favorite accessories are. well, if you already took a "survey" you can still say what your least favoite accessories are, and if you haven't you can tell me in the question for favorite accessories.

My least favorite accessories are the antennaes for mamma, miss piggys dressing room table, and all of pepes accessories (except for his lunch box).

1) Rainbow Connection Kermit ~ So many different meanings behind him
2) Rizzo (standard red & yellow jacket) ~ I'm biased though cuz he's my favorite Muppet
3) Sweetums ~ Never did I think we'd see a Sweetums action figure
4) Uncle Deadly ~ The Muppet that almost wasn't
5) Jim Henson ~ The one who started it all
Bottom Five (no order)
1) Series 1 Piggy (long hair version) ~ Wish she'd been more plump
2) Lips ~ Just don't care for the character
3) Usher Scooter ~ Could've fit a different character in that series
4) Bears on Patrol Fozzie ~ Same as above
5) Swedish Chef (Series 9) ~ Same as above

2. were any figures better/ worse than you expected?
I was really impressed with Uncle Deadly, but I don't know if that's cuz i was appreciating him more since he's the last new character being made. I was kinda disappointed with sitting Robin. I thought he'd be smaller. Still love him though!!!! :flirt:

Sal

16. of the officially unannounced-for-release figures, which one do you wish we could have gotten?
Definately Sal again (he's not one of my favorites, but Johnny looks lonely without him)

My least favorite accessory is probably Link Hogthrob's magazine. It's a photo of the action figure plastered on a piece of plastic.

Also, I changed my mind about my favorite pack-in figure. Instead of the Muppaphones (with Marvin Suggs) I like the Koozebanians/Murdlidops with Koozebane Kermit.

Alright, I'm bumping this thread, mostly because I have new answers for mine, and I want to know other's opinions.

1. What are your top five favorite/ least favorite figures?
S5 Gonzo, S8 Sam Eagle, Uncle Deadly, Clifford, and Penguins

2. Were any figures better/ worse than you expected?
Uncle Deadly was much better! As was Crazy Harry, and Dr. Teeth. I'd say that Bunsen, S2 Gonzo, and Marvin Suggs were much worse than expected.

3. Which mega was your favorite/ least favorite?
Gonzo is the only one I have, so he's my fave.

4. What exclusives were your favorite/ least favorite?
My fave exculsives have to be Jim Henson, Uncle Deadly, and the penguins. My least fave is Super Beaker.

5. What minis are your favorite/ least favorite?
All I have is the set with Thog, Sam Eagle, and Mahna Mahna, and I love them, so they're my favorite.

6. What is your favorite/ least favorite playset?
My all time favorite is Backstage, and my least is Muppet Labs.

7. What give-away was your favorite/ least favorite?
I'd say Holiday Rizzo.

8. Do you own every Muppets release from palisades?
No way...

9. Do you own every package variations?
No, I'm missing Floyd, Zoot, Rizzo, Janice, Shifty Eyed Sam, Classic Lips, and Silver Lips.

10. What is one muppet production (not in palisades contract) that you would have liked to have been included in the line?
Does Fraggle Rock count? If so that, if not MWoO definitely.

11. What is your favorite/ least favorite repaint?
Marvin Suggs

12. What are your favorite non-pack-in accessories?
Crazy Harry's dynamite plunger, Rowlf's piano, Janice's guitar, Lew Zealand's accessories, Sam Eagle's podium, and Chef's blunderbuss.

13. What is your favorite pack-in figure?
Sitting Robin w/ RC Kermit

14. Who are four characters you wish we could have gotten?
Bobo the Bear, Bean Bunny, Sal Manilla, and Standing Robin.

15. Of the characters planned for 2005, which one are you most upset over not getting?
Sal Manilla, poor Johnny needs his monkey...

16. Of the officially unannounced-for-release figures, which one do you wish we could have gotten?
Probably Photographer Gonzo or Bobo.

17. If you could change one thing about the line, what would it be?
I think a) If JHC held onto the Muppets for awhile longer and b) More retailers picked up the line, this would've been one of the most succesful action figure lines ever. We would've seen all of the figures through Series 14 that Ken listed awhile back. Let's just hope Sesame Street gets off the rocky path it's on right now and skyrockets! :excited:

By packaging variations, I was referring to how The Swedish Kithcen Playset and mega Beaker were released in both "25th Anniversary" packaging and the blue packaging. That kind of variations, not figure/ character variants.

Although The Muppet Musicians of bremen wasn't in the contract, Rover Joe did appear on The Muppet Show a few times, so I think he might have been included in the contract (I could be wrong).

Top five Figures-Animal,Kermit,Uncle Deadly,S9 Cheff and Dr strangepork

Figures that were better-Lew Zealand,an amazing turn around from Ken and Co.

Figures that were worse-Uncle Deadly,it's wonderfull to have such an accurately detailed sculpt but his colour appears way off model, and that's a shame!

Best Playset-Is there a bad one!...i'll give it to the Swinetreck for being show accurate and managing to hold it's own against the Sweadish Kitchen. Not an easy act to follow!

Favourite exclusive is Uncle Deadly.

Characters i wish could have been made-Mahna Mahna,Gloat ,Boppity and George the Janitor-If the afforementioned frackles could have been done as pack in's then throw Wayne and Wanda in there.
And if i had to pick just one out of that lot...Mahna Mahna!

Favourite accesories- the piano and the mop bucket.

Thanks!
It's been fun!
