Ok so this thread is pretty straight forward, to all the older member's here. It is the same guide lines as the New Member's thread.
This thread is for the newer members to meet the older members, like we do them on there thread. Or even for the older members to meet more older members.
Introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about your Muppet experiences and interests. What are some of your favorite Muppet memories, characters, movies, or shows?
Why you became a member on the forums.
We're looking forward to getting to know you better!
~And People who count as a "older" member is any one who has 500 posts- to people who are a senior member.(not you'r age)
Have Fun!
What?

This, ladies and gentlemen, is to teach the newbies not to ask questions because some people would rather not have conversations with others. They're not being graded on this ... how many new friends can you get just by saying something along the lines of "I don't want to talk to you ... go read my bio buried in the trunk of my car"? No one is holding a gun to people's head forcing them to answer this thread. If you don't wish to respond ... don't. It's really that simple. Coming here only to gripe that you don't want to answer the questions actually answers a lot of unasked questions ....

Whoa, whoa, whoa now, I can assure you I wasn't griping, nor did I come here to tell newbies to step off; I was just simply drawing attention to the fact that there are similar threads already available for this type of discussion, for those who weren't aware - just about all of our predominant members have posted in them, some more than once, and really, they were stickied - here and on the General Discussion board, so it's not as if they were just "buried" underneath countless other threads, they were pretty easily accessible for anybody.

I think it's a fun idea. It's a bit more clear on "what others want to know", and it's a good place for newer members to come and read about those of us who have been here for a while. They don't have to dig through pages and pages of posts just to find out who we are. This thread has a very specific topic (I LOVE it when people are specific). It's helpful to new members. The only complaint I have is that we need to come to a general consensus as to what defines an "older member". I say anyone who has been here two years or more counts.

First of all Thank You!
Second. "older member" I will agree with you. You should be 2 years on the forums.
If any-one is dis-agree speak now or forever hold you'r peace.
I'm sorry about the confusion, I did not know of other threads being out there on this topic.
Sorry:embarrassed:
And Thanks To every one for posting and you'r understanding.
Peace and Love!

And now I think we can Re-Open this thread for every "old member" out there to post you'r stories.

hey everyone, I'm Dana (or Cookie) and I've been a member since 2005 (my old username was Fuzzy and Blue but I lost the password to that account so I became MeWantCookie). I'm 20 years old and am a junior in college, majoring in Spanish. Someday I hope to either teach high school Spanish or be a translator, or both even!

In addition to my studies I enjoy music (I am a singer/songwriter/guitarist and also play flute, saxophone and a little piano), theater, and all different forms of art. I love makeup artistry and face painting; in fact, I just got a job with a face painting company and hope to own my own face painting business or work at a theme park as a face painter.

I was never really into SS as a kid but once I hit my mid-teens I came to appreciate it more and finally understood that it could be interpreted on two different levels (adult humor and child humor). I LOVE the classic stuff but don't really care for Elmo...I can tolerate early-mid '90s Elmo but nothing after that.

Ok, so knowing that this is either going to be very short and to the point, or like a lot of my post on these type of thing rambly and too long for everybody to read, I'm still gonna do this.
Hey y'all. I'm Daniel, also known as Teheheman, Tehe, among other names I won't post here lol and the actual reason that I posted on this forum was that I made a parody of Big and Rich's Wild West Show called Muppet Show so I decided to post it where a bunch of Muppet fans would be to see if they enjoyed it the same as my MuzikMafia friends did. I don't know what kept making me post on here, but I did and over 5,000 post later, I'm still posting on here. I hope that I'm known here as the MC Ambassador of Love like my boy Big Kenny(I even found the PERFECT avatar for that.) as I say LOVE EVERYBODY on a lot of these more discussive threads. Oh and I like to make up words too btw. Anyways, I have been a Muppet fan ever since I was a kid. The old Muppet Show on Nickelodeon, and then Muppet Babies, and also Muppets Tonight but am still nostalgic to those guys today just like when I look at Curious George or Woody Woodpecker. Did I leave anything out? If you wanna know something just ask. Oh and yes I'm single, that's the question I get the least, but I figured I'd get that out there just in case anybody asked lol.
LOVE EVERYBODY!

Daniel
