Aah! I'm glad you asked. I just noticed these in stores this week, and I have no idea what they are.

Why can't we all just have one thing and stick with it?

HD DVD? Blue ray?
I think HD DVD... is like High Definition(or a supposedly better picture quality). I'm not exactly sure what Blue ray is, it maybe the same type of thing... But I'm not sure. At least some major news programs or major stations have gone to HD like: Good Morning America, and most other programs on ABC, NBC, or CBS. Hope this helps.

What? DVD quality isn't good enough for us now? Any better quality and we'll end up even seeing each individual hair up people's noses!

Yeah, because I believe that's what America wants. You can never get enough nose hairs. I think that's how Brian Williams got the NBC job, cause his nose hairs form the shape of Tom Brokaw, and they think that makes him a better newscaster.

There just there next big kind od thing to whach movies on. The problem is that half the Movie Companies want with one format, anf half went with the other. So it's like the Bata Max/VHS wars all over again. But I'm betting on HD DVD to win over all. Basically they just stores more memory then regular DVDs. But the quality may look beter on HD TV sets.

Heres more then I could explain. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HD_DVD
