No way. I love September . . . a normal September . . . when the temps gradually drop from the 80s into the 60s by the end of the month . . . not when it's still in the 90s like it's still August!
Well, if you can't stop climate change, you can always move north.
Besides, summer officially lasts until the 21st, maybe extended with Indian Summer.
Or you could move north. jobs available, new housing being built all the time, the Farmer's Almanac predicting a cool fall and mild winter.
Well, from a cost analysis standpoint, it would probably be cheaper to move than to stop climate change.Paying a couple hundred bucks for a moving van vs. billions to the lobbyists who push for climate change (if anything can be done).
Maybe come up north for a summer job, escape the heat, and make a few bucks doing so.
Actually, how does this sound? Come on up to Niagara Falls. Because of the sheer volume of cold water, it rarely gets above 80 degrees. Plenty of casinos there, you and Steve could put on an act, the casino people give you a room, all -you-can-eat buffet, and Steve can schmooze with all the honeymoon couples.
Think it over. Opportunity only knocks once.
So not only has this ungodly unseasonable heatwave roared its ugly head towards us again, but it's going to be even worse this time: temps are expected to soar into the mid-and-upper 90s, and it's expected to last a week and a half this time, and if it does, then September 2019 will officially rise up to second-worst September in recent years, dethroning last September (which had previously dethroned September 2015 as the second-worst September in recent years).

I went out on my lunch break today (which was the same time you typed this); the sun was out, I was in a hoodie and sweating my balls off (cause it was 60 at the beginning of the day) and thought of you.
See, unlike most people, I actually dress for the weather: here I've been wearing my Hawaiian shirts, because I'm not a man built for going shirtless, unfortunately.
I'd argue even 60 isn't quite cool enough for long sleeves . . . long pants, sure, but since it's in the 90s, I'm not going there right now.
But at this point, I can't wait for it to dip below 70 (used to be late September, now it's mid-October) so I can start wearing long pants again.
