Mark Twain once reported, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." It gets hotter in the fall for a few weeks and nobody has air conditioning so that kind of bites, but it's nothing compared to summers in Houston, Texas! That does it, I'm heading over to California tomorrow!
I used to have to start my car, crank the AC and go back inside the house for five minutes every morning. Now I walk everywhere here in SF because nearly everything's a 10 minute walk and it's usually nice enough out. It gets so cold in the back of the toy shop where I work that I'm actually wearing a hoodie today!
