Yeah KermieBaby... The android you refered to is probably Digit. And yes, Waldo was usually floating/flying up in the air on the monitors or in the free space of the hallways and rooms of the Muppet Central TV production complex.

No prob Tony. Digit was a great character performed by Dave Goelz... And Waldo was a source of comedy due to his instant morphing abilities.

Hee, in the last episode of JHH (the one with the Food Album parodies) he tries to convince Kermit of doing Hop-Along Hamlet.
Funny bit.

Yeah... I'm not much on Waldo. When it comes to JHH, I loved Vikki, Leon, and Digit, all of which I wish they still had around today.
