I think it was a great use of 'radio' humour, where stuff happens that cannot happen in visual humour -- such as the reveal of Zoot having been in the box all along. Or Rizzo actually being the same height as Bobo's feet (instead of magically hovering midway up his body...but we won't go into that here ;P).

I can see how it could be seen as a bit repetitive and 'eye-rolling' but it was new and funny and it gave the Muppets a chance to stretch their boundaries again (attempting radio humour on the internet)

And it was such a treat for us fans, when, frankly they probably would have won the Webby's even without releasing that video! So it was just a little bonus feature, and I loved it.
