I love DS9 but I think it was most "un-Star Trek" of all the series.

I mean, in the books, Jadzia(sp?) can feel the thoughts of her Trill host. So, do they have a that cheesy 'Deanna Troi' voice-over effect, or what?

No, not really. I don't think she ever talks with the Dax symbiont.

Oh, and so you know, Dax is the symbiont, Jadzia is the Trill host.

If you look up Jadzia Dax on Google, you get a whole Bio on the character and actress.

I see.

So, how does the audience know that it's two of them?

Or does she talk about it, and if you don't know what a Trill is, you don't know?

Wonders...

as much as I watch DS9 (which isn't too awful much, but enough to know a little) the situation wasn't addressed much.

Yeah, that's about right. She doesn't talk to it, but there's enough episodes explaining it so you would know eventually. You don't even really NEED to know if you just an episode once in a while, since, as Sarah said, it's not addressed much.

DS9 was way more interesting than either Voyager or Enterprise.

When will Paramount just take Star Trek away from Berman and Braga? Do they want B&B to completely run it into the ground?

*shivers*

What is it about DS9 that people like so much?

Ok, yes, I know I've only read the books, but Sisco simply grates against my nerves, as does Julian, and Kira. The only ones that I do like are Odo (who is imensly cool...) and Dax (who is coolish, or do I mean hot?...)

*confused*
