New 'Star Trek' Movie in the Works


Star Trek producer Rick Berman has confirmed that work has begun on developing a new theatrical Star Trek feature, which he has described, without elaboration, as a "prequel." "I am involved in the very early stages of what could be the next Star Trek movie," Berman told the British magazine Dreamwatch. "It's something I will be producing with two other producers."

a voyager movie........i think i need to go run another 8 more miles after listening to that!

this sounds like another idiotic idea from rick berman. why can't he just leave the film series as it is, come back to it after a good 5 to 10 year break, and then start fresh. no one saw the last movie in theaters, so what makes you think they're going to see this one?..........

if they're going to make another startrek movie, it needs to be ds9 helmed by ira behr and company. now those guys know how to write an awesome series.

I liked Nem (mainly) but (having only read the books, BTW) dislike DS9.

On the same subject (DS9, that is) how do they do the Trill, Dax?
