No it is just going to be our third look at a live action Joker and I think the first two are so engrained on America's mind that I dont know if they will accept a third.

Why not? Being one of the American movie watching public myself, I know I feel pretty confident that they will. I commend them for not going making him based just on familiarity and marketing factor alone. but for going for something a little different then the previous model Jokers.
