LOL! Purple pants.... hehe!

I used to have a sweat shirt and pair of sweat pants that was entirely purple... God! To think I wore that thing out in public!!!

No, Batman slid down a pole and was magically into his suit by the time he reached the other end... yeah, Tv show. Not movie, but it counts!

Yeah, I understand what you're saying, Foz. I just don't know which one I prefer. Spiderman was good. Spiderman was very good! But... something about the Hulk... not the Hulk himself, but the movie... I don't know what it was, but I jsut liked it alot. I don't know what it was.

Probably because I cried during one scene in the Hulk. Didn't during Spiderman, and maybe this isn't something I should be spreading all over the internet...

The scene with Hulk by the tree is (in my opinion) one of the best superhero cinematic scenes ever made. It was such a beautiful and expressive scene. It's hard to make those in live action - much less in CG. The artists and Jennifer Connely (for acting to thin air) deserve much credit.

That's partly why I'm so mad the NY Times likened the character to Gumby. That was such a beautiful creation. And if you look close in some senes, you can see strands of hair on his skin. I wasn't expecting that. The attention to detail was massive. I'm sure 10 years from now, some of the effects might look primitive, but that scene by the tree will hold the same impact as it does today.

Yeah, I loved that scene too. I could hardly see part of it, cuz someone opened the door (the theater I was in had the door directly behind the screen ), but, I still loved that scene.

I imagine that you are a fellow, but most women know that guys don't talk much when they are mad (really mad)...they make noises and have fractual sentences: "What the...I just..." You know...the sputter and sput syndrome. Forgive me, men, but this is true...!

And you know...I remember Batman wearing purple in the television series! Yeah...only he had purple tights and such for his costume. Bet those didn't stretch much, unless they were latex or spandex. Nylon didn't go far without snagging and running in those days...

And who hasn't blessed those wonderful stretch pants and sweats for the days when they are a little "bigger" than normal...?

PS - Radionate, I worked in North Dakota at stations in 1988-90. We hadn't gone totally "tech" at the time...still worked with carts, turntables and some (*ack!* drawing a blank here!) shows that would come in from nation-wide programming, like Dick Clark's Sunday Countdown of the American Top 40 (or whatever that was called).

Actually, the majority of guys I know aren't like that, including myself. For the most part, they just get very, very quiet. They won't let anything out until much, much later when they're alone. I try to be like that as much as I can, unfortunately, sometimes it doesn't always happen.

Last Monday I saw Bruce Almighty and Daddy Daycare at the drive-in

I liked them both! It was cool to see some of the site's in Buffalo, but you could tell that they were backdrops when they showed them as Carry didn't do any fliming here.

I guess a part in the hockey statium "when the Sabers with the cup" was cut because one of my friends was at a game where they did filming and they had the whole crowd say "and that's the way the cookie crumbles!!!!" My friend said they made the whole aud say it like 20 times for diffrent takes and that they had to clap FOREVER at one point!
