Yes, the pro wrestler was Hulk Hogan aka the Hulkster!!

Anyway, what do you people think about Jurassic Park 4? You know it's coming out sometime in 2006, right?

Is Spielberg directing?

OMG, I haven't been here since March, and this thread is still going strong? It has been what, three years? Must be a new record

Anyway ... I am definitely looking forward to Rent, as well as The Producers (which seems to have been delayed for so long).

And, of course, the next Batman, which is scheduled for release two years from now, I believe.

I forget where I heard that ... Batman Begins does leave room for another film: remember, at the end, when we get a bit of The Joker.

Then again, is Batman Begins intended to be a prequel to the second Batman movie (the masterful Tim Burton film)?

Batman Begins is not a prequel to the Batman 1989 movie Tim Burton directed. It is a brand new movie to restart the Batman movie franchise. So Batman Begins doesn't fit in with the Tim Burton and Joel Shumaker Batman films.

As for Pseilberg directing Jurassic Park 4, he is not, but he is a producer like he was for Jurassic Park 3.

Well a movie I've been anticipating was released last night in theaters: "Flightplan". It's gotten some good reviews and some lukewarm reviews, so far. I'll be seeing it either at 4:30 or 7:00 today. Looking forward to an exciting and taut movie, even if the ending turns out to be unsatisfying and full of too many red herrings and question marks, as one reviewer said. Also looking forward to buttered popcorn and those chocolate cookie dough candies! :stick_out_tongue:

Some reviews, by the way, compared the plot with Alfred Hitchcock's "The Lady Vanishes" where a lady disappears from a train. I love Hitchcock's work and never saw that film. Have to get a hold of it some time.

And I saw "Flightplan" now and glad I did. Thought it was a good movie (I'd probably give it 3 out of 4 stars). Jodie Foster was excellent, as expected. Good supporting characters too. Really keeps your interest throughout. Its conclusion was okay but I did have at least a couple of unresolved questions, one of which might be answered upon getting to see a certain scene in the movie over again. So I recommend it unless you think nearly the entire movie taking place on a plane is too limited. It was a gargantuan plane, though. Also, if you're looking for a laugh this isn't the one to see. It's totally serious the whole time. I don't think there was even one line of humor or comic relief. But I like movies like that sometimes.

I saw The Corpse Bride last night. It was really good. Except the random butterfiles. If you see this movie, I doubt you will undestand them either.
It's not very deep, and it kind of predictable. But I like it that way. It's beautiful to look at, very fun and weird, and I enjoyed all of it. I liked it much better than the cholocate factory movie. The animation was gorgeous, too. Worth a go if you are looking for something fun to go see.

We saw Corpse Bride last night and liked it. It was "frightfully" good. Then we saw The Constant Gardener tonight. That was very very good, and well made, but also quite heavy and sad in so many ways. But very good.

One more thing regarding "Flightplan". I saw in some reviews the movie, "Red eye" by Wes Craven was alluded to, since it was just released in August and is also a suspense thriller set in a plane. I looked at reviews for "Red eye" and see that the high majority were positive. Sounds like this one is worth seeing too. And Craven is a skillful director, albeit a little morbid and/or explicit some times.
