Self-promotion is fine, especially for a newbie. I'm no expert on Fraggles so I doubt my input would be much use to you, but glad to see more writers joining us. Hope you enjoy your stay -- and don't tip the rats, just leave a cookie out once a week, and put your shoes in the hall if you want 'em polished in the morning. Of course, if you forget the cookie, you'll also lose shoes...

Hi! Sooooo I have to admit I feel a bit out of place. I grew up watching muppet babies, and I know I've seen muppets in space, but aside from that I never watched anything else muppets, or sesame street, orrrrr anything else really. Well, I take that back, I watched Labyrinth and Dark Crystal like crazy, but that's not the point. I'm much more of a comic book, anime geek who plays a ton of video games on the side. But I recently watched the muppet movie (so you can say I'm a new fan!) and have fallen in love. I creepily stalked these forums mostly to find more about the muppets (and now I have officially bought season one of the muppet show and own an uncle deadly palisades figure! yay!) and I joined because I'm a cosplayer who is now working on building a muppet. Sooo I wanted to learn more about that. But I figure I should join and stop lurking about!

So hi! My name is Jill! I'm from no-where Iowa, I work at Staples in the Copy and Print department full time. I was in College for a while, but honestly I hated it so I have no ambitions to really go back. I have my street smarts and all I really want out of life is to enjoy being in the moment and live my life to the fullest I can possibly make it! I hope to learn more about muppets and meet tons of new people!

Thank you! I was surprised by the movie. I was excited to go (mostly due to a guy I really like asked me out on a date to go see it) and I ended up loving it a lot, so I went again and again, haha. I've been dragging my friends to it like crazy! I never knew that the muppets would be my new obsession!

Ah I'm sorry! I should have specified! I have never seen the 79 muppet movie, but this weekend that will change. Apparently all my friends are muppet fans and have just never told me till I started ranting and raving about how great the new movie is. So now we are going to have a muppet movie marathon which I'm super excited about!

Heh heh....that's my dream life right there. You have no idea how bad the urge was after I saw the new movie to call my friend up and be like "Omygosh!! Scooter got a big role! And his voice is great, he even has his old jacket back!! And Rowlf, don't even get me started! And they never fixed the hole in the theater!!" Of course, she would have no earthly idea what I was talking about. You very lucky to have friends who will listen and relate to your ranting.

But I still have quite a friends who just give me blank stares like "are you seriously going to nerd out about this..." But whatever, their just jealous.
