Need prayers for my dad

Hi everyone,
Lately it seems like I come here to ask for or complain about something. I hope you forgive me. But within the past few months my dad has had a aneurysm (blood clot) in his stomach .His operation was scheduled for 8 this morning. No details yet as to whether it's over or not.*sigh* It seems like 2005 has been a pretty lousy year for him.
I'm scared that something is going to happen.My grandfather died of a burst aneurysm in 1992.I'm just hoping this isn't hereditary. So if you guys could keep my dad in your good thoughts & prayers I'd appreciate it.

He's had it for awhile but it was too small to remove up until now.That's why I haven't said anything to you all.My best friend since we were teenagers offered to come over earlier but I was just too tired & edgy to deal with anyone face to face.
My mom & sister went with him to the hospital.(my sister went since she is a nurse & can explain medical things to my mother)

I know how it feels. My uncle died of that 25 years ago.
