I need some help in terms of making a female body! you see I'm attempting to make a puppet likeness of my Character Loretta Lupine but I really want to make her body more woman like (As opposed to the Traditional "Kermit" Bodies) anyone have any tips or patterns I can use?

I experimented with two different methods... for starters, I constructed just a plain ol', no frills foam torso, then I tried attaching two halves of a styrofoam ball for the bust; that didn't work at all, the foam rubber torso wouldn't hold shape with the hard styrofoam ball halves on it.

Secondly, I replaced the stryrofoam balls with clumps of stuffing... it worked okay, it got the job done in a passable manner.

You can also try sculpting a clay body, then patterning that.

well I already figured out how to make the foam female body, but how would I go around covering it? Especially around the Breast area?

You should check out the From Sketch To Show: Patterning A Puppet video from Playsoup. I think it would answer most of your questions.
