So that means that :batty: will come with the N and E? Still waiting for that pre-order to see which one(s) I go after first. Although at $37.99 per figure, at that price I used to be able to purchase an entire series of four from Palisades back in the day two decades ago.

Count could have an N or an E. There is a 4th figure that hasn't been shown yet. Maybe we will see it at NYCC. NECA stated they will release these 2 at a time. I'm hoping for Oscar, but based on the E's design it could be Guy Smiley.

As for price, it's not 2004 anymore. It is kind of crazy that a whole wave of Muppets was only $40 though. Sadly, those times are long gone. Marvel legends were $8 back then and now they are $27, and those aren't close to the detail NECA does. $37 is pretty standard for figures like this these days.

I'm so excited for these! I wonder if they'll start showing up in stores before they arrive at online retailers in January.

Guy Smiley would be a fun choice for the fourth figure. As long as they get to all 20ish characters I want, I don't care too much about order. It seems like a common marketing strategy is to mix more popular and obscure characters to sustain the line. That's a win win for me because I want the obscure characters and the line to continue for a long time. Although, it almost seems like the more obscure characters for Super7's ReAction figures are more popular, or at least get a little more buzz, than the more mainstream characters.

NECA showed off packaging shots if Bert and Ernie on their Facebook page.

They are going with a classic Sesame Street story book illustration vibe, which is wonderfully 70s/80s. I really can't wait to get these in hand. I hope this line blows up for NECA so we can get the brick wall shown in the promo pics and a nice retro version of the street. I'd sell every non-muppet figure in my collection to have a street scene.

So if the figure of :batty: is coming with a scowling Muppet 2, who's the figure that'll come with the Muppet N and E? Is it indeed Guy Smiley? :search:

Still no word on the 4th figure that will be paired with Count. I'm really hoping for Oscar, though the Muppet E needs to come with Guy Smiley just because of the beauty pageant angle.

The waiting is killing me. I'm ready to see a full line already.

I think Oscar makes a lot of sense, since he was shown as another figure in their Toony Terrors line with Bert and Ernie. I don't think they've shown the fourth figure for that line either. I'd be happy with any classic (pre-90s) character, but I'm hoping it's a monster.

I really hope NECA is planning to release at least 6 figures a year because I'm so impatient to get a full line of at least 20 figures. Based on comments by Paul Harding, the sculptor for the first 3 figures, it seems like there were already several more figures in the pipeline back at the time of SDCC. Hopefully, that means Count's wave mate will be ready and that wave will go up for pre-order when Bert and Ernie start shipping. And the next wave won't be too long after that.

As per the photo posted above, do the NECA figures really match up with the PT figures? I'm kind of a little unsure because the NECA figures are listed as "7-inch tall" and that would kind of maybe loom giant over guys like Kermit or Gonzo, so I ask to make sure given my blind batty eyes.
