Name this video/episode

Ok guys, I could use your help. Even if it's just to tell me that I'm nuts. A friend of mine remembers watching a sesame street video or episode many years ago that had Big Bird captured in a cage. He was also blue for part of it. Ringing any bells? We are probably talking late 80's or early 90's, but I'm not positive, and he can't remember anything more than that. I'd like to find it if at all possible, for a gift. Thanks in advance,
