hoo neads speleeng? ...wow, that looks like something that's been through the dialectizer... bork bork bork? hm, I think "um gesh de bork, bork!" is more appropriate in this case... can you tell that the Swedish Chef is my Muppet college dorm-mate?

Although, getting back to the not-topic, I think it's more of a typo. Something I for one definately can't throw stones about. When I'm tired, I'll say I have to go "wawy" (away) and I'll give people "guhs" (hugs), and even when I'm awake I'll talk- er, type about my "cousing" (cousin), and I don't know how many times I've refered to something being "in frong" (front) of something else...

Reminds me of one of the coolest teachers I had: My 8th grade science teacher. He kind of resembled Mr. Rogers in looks and mannerisms. And he told a lot of jokes, mostly puns and corny ones (which was fine with me cuz I love em'!).
Like he once began the class with: "Here we have a clock. Now, don't get alarmed." And another time, "Today we're going to talk about light. We're gonna make a few light comments, do some light reading, and the whole thing should be very enlightening, to see how bright you are."
I ran into him and his wife about ten years later and when I told him how funny I thought his jokes were he turned to his wife and said, "See!"
One drawback with him: He had a penchant for giving pop quizzes!

By the way, just thought of something else. When you were in elementary school did any of you ever have to read out loud and then embarrass yourself by giggling? When I was in elementary school and we went around the room taking turns reading a page or a paragraph, sometimes the kid next to the reader would whisper funny things to try to make him laugh. I fell victim to this on more than one occasion. :embarrassed:

Hey I just thought I'd give myself a pat on the back for doing a classic example of killing a thread. All 14 replies to this thread were made in the evening of September 7th within about 2 hours and then after my entry- BAM! Nothing ever since. Nice job on my part eh? *pats self on back*

Heh heh, only messing around here.

Well I plan on being a history teacher by next year for either middle school or for high school. Maybe if I get my own room I should decorate it with other forms of history besides Washington or the battle of so and so, etc. I could put some muppet pictures in there and some ghostbusters pictures.......But I don't think the principle would like that....

You know it's funny, I was just thinking about this thread today, and I wanted to post in it, but I didn't want to dig it up. That was about twelve hours ago, in English class. So, since it's been recovered for me- Thank you, Ziffel- I will post what I was thinking I would post in English! ...what, pay attention to class? Why, it's much more fun to think of what I might post here...

See I posted earlier in this thread that my English teacher doesn't seem to like the Muppets. However, he contradicted that today. He was, as usual, getting frustrated with how unresponsive my class was being. I forget the exact comment he made- it was something about folk tales or gothic tales or Edgar Allen Poe or ...something- and we all just kind of stared at him, like we usually do. So he just sort of randomly said, "Wocka wocka." We pretty much continued to not respond. I was about half a second away from saying, "Fozzie Bear," but he started talking again... <shrug>. I think it was an improper usage of "wocka wocka," don't you?

Yes, quite improper.

On another note, I plan on joining the international club tomorrow, and my social studies teacher runs it, so it'll give me more time to tell him about MC!

Wow after a classic killing of a thread I then do the precise opposite - a huge REVIVAL (or anti-killing) of a thread. You can't be that!

Hey that would give you an excuse to watch a lot of movies with your class (like "Gettysburg", "Schindler's List", "Saving Private Ryan")
