Well, in addition of this year marking the 20th anniversary of "Follow That Bird", today marks my parent's 20th anniversary of their wedding. That's right, they were married on September 14, 1985. And four years later, they got stuck with me. My parents are so happy, and blessed to to have each other. My dad is 61 now, and my mom is 52, but today, they feel so young and full of life. Since my dad is on one of his trips right now, my mom and I went for Chinese tonight, but this Saturday, my dad is taking my mom to Regis for an anniversary dinner. Happy 20th mom and dad, I love you guys, you're the best and weirdest parents I ever had.

That's great. Good for them.

My parents have been married for 27 years now, but sad to say, they lost their love flame 10 years ago.

That's awesome to hear, D'Snowth! It's always nice to hear it when couples stay together for long time. I saw my parents go through a messy divorce and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. Tell your folks to keep up the good work! :flirt:

Happy Anniversary to them. 20th is very special. As I said before here, my parents would have celebrated their 40th this past July. But my mother had her 15th this year with my step dad. And her best friend is celebrating the big 50th anniversary this weekend.

As in Philbin...? **twitches**

Joking. A very sentimental speech. You sure are lucky, and your parents deserve congratulations. 20 years is a milestone!
But are you sure they want everyone to know how old they are?

Wow! That's wonderful. My grandparents just celebrated their 50th anniversary this year. We had a big party for them back in December with family and all of their friends. It was like one huge reunion. It was truly special.
