Great news, everybody!!! For those of you waiting to see Jim Henson and his fellow Muppeteers in the drawing for Gilda's Clubs I'm making (discussed at this link):
http://forum.muppetcentral.com/showthread.php?t=14779

you're in luck! The "Basketball Gilda" pictures are finally on the web!!!:excited: It'll take just a few steps to get to 'em, but they are worth seeing!

First of all, go to this link:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gildaradneronlineclub/messages/1?viscount=100

Now, look at the right of the screen. If you have a Yahoo email address, you can "Sign In" using it. If you don't, click on "Register". It's just like getting a free email account, and you can delete it right away with no problem!

Once you've either signed in or registered, the column on the left of the screen should have the word "Photos" in blue. Click on that.

Now, you should have a screen with different photos, including some folders and one photo with Gilda, Jane Curtin, and Laraine Newman. Right after that are a series of photos. Most of these depict other pieces of Gilda Radner-related artwork that I have done in the past.

But I know that you folks want to see how Jim Henson and his pals turned out. Well, here's how you do it. Just scroll down to the bottom of the screen where you will see "Show All" in blue. Double click on it, and suddenly all of the celebrities will be visible. Click on a photo thumbnail to enlarge, and click on it again to make it even bigger!

Sorry for the roundabout route, but these pictures are definitely worth seeing!

Now keep in mind that almost all of these drawings were scanned when the drawing was incomplete, so in most of them the eyes aren't filled in yet. The ones (especially the Muppeteer photos) are completed. I've listed the celebrities as they appear in the photos below. I put an asterisk next to the ones that are complete:

Judy Levy (old friend of Gilda's)
Pam Katz (old friend of Gilda's)
Gilda Radner as Candy Slice
David Letterman
Don Novello (who played Father Guido Sarducci on SNL)--his picture appears from an early sketch I did before color was added to the drawing.
Gilda Radner as Rhonda Weiss (with backup group "The Rhondettes")
Mel Brooks with a nectarine...and JIM HENSON!!!
Carl Reiner with FRANK OZ!!!
Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner and Anne Bancroft together
Gilda Radner as Emily Litella
*Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Jerry Nelson, Dave Goelz (with the Sprite)
Madeline Kahn
Gilda Radner as Baba Wawa
Alan Zweibel (author and friend of Gilda's)--his nickname for Gilda was "Gilbert", hence the "GO GILBERT!" sign
Marty Feldman (as he looked in Silent Movie)...in reference to an old "Young Frankenstein" gag, (you take the blonde, I'll take the one in the "toybun") he bites the feather on...
Dom DeLuise's hat. DeLuise played "Katherine Abbott" in a film called "Haunted Honeymoon", which he did with Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner.
Lorne Micaels (in blue) the creator of Saturday Night Live
Bill Murray as Todd DiLaMuca, giving a "noogie" to...
Gilda Radner as Lisa Loopner
Cheech Marin
Chevy Chase (tripping down the bleachers)
Mr. Bill (Ohhh nooooo!) about to be squished by Chevy Chase
*Candice Bergen (with a camera identical to the one she used on "The Muppet Show")
*Paul Shaffer with shades and drumsticks (he played a drummer in Gilda Live! Yes, he had hair back then. Nowadays, I suspect Paul Shaffer and Gordon have the same hair stylists)
*Steve Martin
*Garrett Morris from Weekend Update
Gilda Radner as Romanian gymnast Nadia Comeneci
*Gilda Radner as Roseanne Roseannadanna (accidentally spilling her buttered popcorn on the head of...)
*Jane Curtin
*Laraine Newman as Connie Conehead
Thomas Chong
*Dan Aykroyd as Elwood Blues (with dry white toast)
*John Belushi as Joliet Jake Blues (with four fried chickens and a Coke...the chicken buckets read "Soul Food Cafe")
*Gilda Radner as Judy Miller
*Flo Porter (community coordinator of the Wellness Community that Gilda attended when she was living with cancer)
*Harold Benjamin (founder of the Wellness Community)
*Joanna Bull (co-founder of Gilda's Clubs)
*Sparkle (Gilda's pet Yorkshire terrier)
*Gene Wilder
*Michael Radner (Gilda's brother)
*Herman Radner (Gilda's father)
*Henrietta Radner (Gilda's mother)
*Mrs. Gilles "Dibby" (Gilda's nanny and inspiration for "Emily Litella")
*Richard Hunt as the popcorn vendor
Lily Tomlin
Alan Alda
John Candy (who is half inspired by his role from "National Lampoon's Vacation", and partly from his role in "Follow That Bird")

there's tons and tons of hidden stuff in this drawing and references to Gilda and her sketches, such as the "Shimmer", "Spud" and "Jewess Jeans" ads which follow. The very last photo is a close-up of the big Gilda, soaring though the air to slam dunk the ball and win the game.

If anyone's interested, I'll post the hidden stuff I put in this drawing, and the references, too.

One thing I will mention, there's there's two photos of the drawing near the end...one where I'm holding a nectarine, and one where I'm holding a piece of toast. There were models I used for the ones Brooks and Aykroyd have in the drawing.

Here is a link to the earlier mentioned "Haunted Honeymoon" DVD cover:

And here is a link to Candice Bergen and her camera from TMS (Thanks again, Muppetdk!):

I can't seem to get that blue photos link, even after I have signed in to Yahoo.

Do I have to join the group?

Hmmm...

I think so. They must have altered the site a little since I last added photos, so I think you have to join the group now in order to see the photos. I know that it's free and easy to join (like MC) and you can delete your membership right away if you wish.

Sorry for any inconveniences.

Quite a while!

This drawing took me about a year to do, but I've always loved to draw...ever since I was a little kid. I know I have some Fraggle drawings I made somewhere from when I was about 8 or 9.

Thanks for the compliments on the drawings! I'm posting them elsewhere as well, so they can be more easily accessed on the web by us MC'ers. Stay tuned, everyone!

Photos on new site!

Okay, everyone, I've been working on getting the photos on another site, so that a simple click will get you there.

The reason I put the photos at the other link is that it belongs to a Gilda Radner fan club group who wanted to see them. Now with MC'ers being curious about my project too, I've re-posted them elsewhere.

First up, if you want to see everyone in the drawing, here is the direct link to all of 'em:

http://photobucket.com/albums/v260/ConvincingJohn/Basketball Gilda/?start=all

As mentioned before, the audience members follow the list from earlier in this thread, and ones marked with an asterisk are completed.

If you're just interested in seeing Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Jerry Nelson, Dave Goelz and Richard Hunt, then here are the links that'll take you directly to their photos...at last!

Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Jerry Nelson, Dave Goelz (with Madeline Kahn and Gilda Radner as Baba Wawa in the foreground)

And here's Richard Hunt as the popcorn vendor!
http://photobucket.com/albums/v260/...ction=view&current=RichardHunt--completed.jpg

And here's a larger one that shows Mel Brooks (holding a nectarine) and Jim Henson together:

Enjoy the pictures, everyone!
