Well, the rib is definitely broken. The doctor said it should take about three weeks to heal.

I just don't understand why he waited so long to go to the doctor if a bone was broken. Oh well...

There's really not much doctors can do for a broken rip. It can even get worse if they try. It has to heal on its own.

I hope he has a speedy recovery!
