Muppets Tonight! Cast

I vaguely remember the show and who appeared in it. I know it was sort of the debut of characters such as Pepe, Sal, Johnny and Clifford, but what classic Muppet cast members were involved as well? I remember Gonzo and Rizzo were a part of it along with Kermit, but I don't recall there being much Fozzie (if any) or Miss Piggy. A lot of the puppeteering/voice casting was switched around. Can someone post a cast of characters list for me along with who performed them? Also, what was each character's role within the show? Thank you.

I know that Miss Piggy & the TMS crew were occasional 'guest stars'... I don't know much more detail than that. Ed will probably know all the characters.

Kermit was there, though he was sort of a behind-the-scenes onlooker helping Clifford out from time to time, and performing in a few sketches with the guest stars.
Fozzie, Miss Piggy, Sam the Eagle and Animal were there, all voiced by Frank.
Fozzie appeared most notedly in the EI-EI-OR remake of Vet's Hospital, along with the City Schtickers parody with Billy Crystal and cheering up a depressed Pierce Brosnon.
Piggy was there, still the diva as always.
Sam did political commentary in the sketches titled From the Eagle's Nest, thwarted by Andy and Randy Pig as his constant guests.
Animal performed in some musical numbers.
Bunsen and Beaker were still there, still the madcap scientist duo.
Gonzo sort of ook over the second top banana role since Fozzie wasn't there as often, continuing such a role he was given back in JHH.
Rizzo sort of took over Scooter's role as stage manager.

Many classic characters appeared at the beginning of the first episode, including Floyd, Janice, Zoot, Crazy Harry, Lew Zeland, and The Swedish Chef, but these characters rarely appeared outside of this scene.

Rowlf made a cameo playing the piano during Garth Brooks' closing number, and spoke his first line since Jim Henson's death.
Lew Zeland made a cameo in the Tony Bennet episode, with a line.
Beauregard appeared at the end of two different episodes, with dialogue.

I believe George the janitor was in the closing credits early on the series sweeping the Muppets Tonight stage.
