Inspired by this article and awesome pic from Comicsalliance- http://www.comicsalliance.com/2011/11/23/muppets-movie-roles/

What Muppets would you cast as what famous movie characters? This has been done on some level, with Disney's Muppet Star Wars toy line and Palisades' Indiana Jones Kermit (although maybe that was inspired by Muppets at Disney World).

My pics-

-Back to the Future, with Bunsen Honeydew as Doc Brown, Scooter as Marty McFly, and Sweetums as Biff.

-Star Trek (2009) with Link Hogthrob as Kirk, Gonzo as Spock, Janice as Uhura, Scooter as Chekov, Fozzy as Sulu, Rowlf as Doctor McCoy, and Strangepork as Scotty.

-Ghostbusters with Kermit as Peter Venkman, Fozzy as Ray Stanz, Honeydew as Egon Spangler, and Rowlf as Winston Zeddemore.

Edward Scissorhands
Gonzo es Edward Kermit as Peg (made to male role) Piggy as Bill (she's more like Bill than Peg but Edward will cut her hair instead of Kermit's) Annie Sue as Kim. Robin as Kevin. Link as Jim. (No one else would work) Bunsen as the Inventor.

Yes I have the copy of the paper, I get this delivered to my house and when I saw the entire Arts and Life section dedicated to The Muppets I was really happy

I was just thinking, what if Disney expanded on their line of Muppet Star Wars merch? Here's my pics-

Rowlf as Lando- Calm and collected just like Lando. Lando played a crucial role in SW ep. 5&6, and one of the oldest and most beloved Muppets deserves no less than to play a fan favorite SW character.

Digit as Lobot- Because I just want to see Digit get some respect.

Bobo the Bear as Boba Fett- He played the bumbling assistant to the main villain in 2 Muppet movies, and c'mom, Bobo Fett? That's gold right there.

Scooter as Wedge Antilles- Like Scooter, Antilles is a character who rarely gets the respect he deserves, even though he appears in all 3 original SW films.

Dr. Strangepork as Grand Moff Tarkin

Taking a page from MCC, Statler and Waldorf as the Palpatine brothers.

Zoot as Figrin D'an

Dr. Teeth as Max Rebo

Austin Powers movies:

Austin Powers: Wally
Vanessa: Louise
Felicity Shagwell: Brunette Whatnot Girl (TMS)
Fat [B-word]: Howard Tubman
Dr. Evil: Gary (okay, so he's not a Muppet. But Jason Segel did say he wanted to play an angry supervillain type character when he appeared on "Attack of the Show")
Mini-Me: Walter (makes sense!)
Frau: Winny
Number Two: Newsman
Scott: Scooter
Basil: J.P. Grosse
Goldmember: Swedish Chef
