Amy finds note in locker. Giggling, shows it to her friends. Circles answer and puts it back in Matts locker   :stick_out_tongue:

My Dad says he has to meet you before I'm allowed to go to the movies with you so he can make sure you are a nice, respectable young man   :stick_out_tongue:

Heh, make sure he doesn't see my last posts, or we might have to meet in secret! If so, we can go to my treehouse...its usually "No Girls Allowed," but I'll make an exception for you because I think your neat-o.

A tree-house sounds like fun  or I have a playhouse we could meet in!! It's usually like your treehouse i.e. 'No Boys Allowed' but that can be changed because I think you are neat-o too!

OK, slightly back to topic...
I'm coming to Muppetfest! Well, I'm 99% certain that I'm coming. March would be a great month for me but if it's a bit later than that I'll still do my best to come.

Amy, where abouts in NZ are you? I've been round NZ a couple of times and it's a wonderful country- but then again I am a huge rugby fan so I was in my element!

Now, we return to our scheduled romance...

I thought you knew/had gathered? You didnt know for awhile(from what I heard on chat and implied on the old forum) you were like the quintessential MC poster gal? Kind of like the Aguilera of the MC forum world, like it was the 1940's MC guys going to war would have your likeness painted on the side of a war plane. Well, thats what it seemd like, or maybe it was a running joke:wink:
I don't know what you are talking about either.

Grail, did I say subtle? hehe...hopefully some people have better luck with irl international romance than I did, ugh.

>>>I don't know what you are talking about either<<<

Ok, I thought you guys remembered, but maybe not. Back in the ol MC chat days(ie: last year) Luke and Smig used to joke about how Jackie was the pinup gal, or 'Trish Stratus'(lame wwf reference) of Muppet Central.

>>>but Henson may not want all our greasy little hands on their very expensive dolls. Can't really blame them for that. All you need is one person with an uncapped ink pen and you have a disaster. Still, I hope they work something out!<<<

From what Im thinking, if handled properly...when you meet say Bill you also get to meet Pepe, when ya meet Clash ya meet Clifford as well, etc...like the q&a but a little more personal.
I would like to think whoever gets to meet them is a little profesional about it all...I mean getting to meet an actual Muppet with the Muppeteer for a photoop or whatever, and not just some recreated standins, would be a very special thing. I would say for only a select few, like gold package people.

>>>basically, there is no "license" for a convention. take the con i work with every year, InConjunction. Our guest list for next year includes Billy Mumy, June Lockhart, Angela Cartwright, and Veronica Cartwright. We've also got guys building a B-9 robot. But we're not having a Lost in Space con...it just "happens" to work out that way. We also have other guests<<<

Well Muppetfest had everyone from Bear and Mr. Tinkles to Claudia Black and Elmo...so anything possible I guess...heck I could even envision various Farscape creatures and a Skeksis
verbally dueling with Pepe and Gonzo. What ya need to understand is the concept of a Muppetcon is stuff thats never been done before, just off the cuff anything goes.

Muppetfest one was very disoprganized, impromptu, all over the map...but thats what i liked about it. Unfortunately they might have to really tonedown various questionable/inuendo and stuff for next years.

>>>Yup, it was me who posted about the state of the Fraggle puppets, but from what i've heard Sprocket is ok,maybe Kermit could narrate the show and have Sprocket 'woofing' beside him<<<

Yeah, thought Whitmire couldnt pull double duties:wink: No, but Im surprised Sprocket isnt in good shape, I mean just a few years back he was in MTM...seems they would keep him in good shape for appearences, hmmm. At any rate, that may be th eonly FR cameo you get...but I agree with Lukes previous post, with the advent of all the great talented backup performers on SS, you could have the most unforgetable biggest celebrational Muppe crossover ever(Muppetshow, Sesame, Bear, etc!)
Hopefully someone at JHC and Creation is thinking the same thing.
