Something brrrand new for now, about my l:flirt:ve again.

Because He's Furry & Blue!

Do-do-do-do-do-do you believe it,
what a wonder, isn't it,-
I'm in love with furry courtyard spirit
From a nearby magic street!
I adore his gymshoes and his sideburns
And a brightly colored tie,
He's so tall and cuddly, so darn handsome
He would make you all envy!

Chorus:

Ding-dong,
I love him, I do, Ding-dong-
I love him, it's true, just for
He's furry and blue,-

Oooh, ding-dong,
Zelly, how do you do,
Hey, Zelly, how do you do,
Don't you know I love you!

He's my love forpever, he's my heart-throb,
Loud and kind, in fluffy cloak,
Day and night for guests is always opened
The door of his Gigantic Oak!
Please don't laugh at me, don't tell he's unreal
And don't tell he's just a dream,-
I just go so crazy every weekend
I see him on the TV-screen-

Z,E,L,I,B,O,B,A!!

(chorus)

Wow, I liked that last one! Cute, cute song!
I wish I could see Zelliboba for myself, but since I don't speak Russian, nor do I know any way to get episodes from other versions, I guess the only way I'll know him is through your lyrical writing. *smile*

Yeah, poor you ... You'd fall in love with him straight a way like me... if you only could see.
But still, thanks for such a comment. Both from me and form Zelly.

Another Zel-icated ditty, shorter than the previous one, but still, here it goes... *NB: the term dvorovoi means the same with dratcher (a spirit of da courtyard)*

Ragazzo Azzuro

A dvorovoi with American rots
Once appeared in Russia,
He's known everywhere since that day
By his mantle and height;
That appearing was so unexpected,
So sudden and rushing,
But I can't help staring at him
With love and delight...

I'd like to wander with you thru my town, you Ragazzo Azzuro,
It's worth loving, it's not worse than Moscow, upon my word;
Just ask me - I'll make it all bow to you, Ragazzo Azzuro,
||:Just ask me - I'll throw to your feet all this beautiful world...:||

I know this isn't my thread, but last year for my English class we had to write a ton of poems and some of mine were about the muppets. I'll go find them.

The book is called Live, Love, and Mahna Mahna with a picture of the man (thing) himself. My first muppet poem is a rewrite of Jabberwocky featuring Kermit, Fozzie, Statler and Waldorf, and Scooter will be playing the role of the "Stage Man". It is placed at the muppet theater.

'Twas joyous and the happy fans
Did laugh and clap in their seats.
Nervous were the chorus clans,
And the Stage Man saw the script Deceits.

(Kermit to Fozzie) "Beware the Bald Man, my friend!
The tongue that stings, the retorts that can!
Beware the Mustachioed One, and do not be penned
By the terrible Stage Man!"

The Bear took his witty script in hand.
Long time the comedy bit he sought-
So he rested by the side curtain,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in light thought he stood,
The Bald Man with lips of flame,
Sat heckling in the box of wood,
And jeckled as the skit came!

Wocka, wocka, wocka! With joke and line
His clever antic came with major claps!
He left them dazed, and with success
He went quickly back.

(Kermit) "And have you beat the Bald Man?
Have a pat on the back, my blissful Bear!
O wonderful day! Harooh! Hooray!"
He yelled and did blare.

'Twas joyous and the happy fans
Did laugh and clap in their seats.
Nervous were the chorus clans,
And the Stage Man saw the script deceits.

sorry if some of it might be hard to understand but it had to rhyme and match syllables so that made it kind of difficult.

Lovingly yours,
MuppetMarc

This one is about Fraggle Rock

Every Day At Four

Every day at four,
I cast off my shoes and socks,
And scramble to the tube
For a trip to Fraggle Rock.

Every day at four,
Anticipation grows
As I wait for the bass beats
To indicate the start of the show.

Every day at four,
I smile with glee
As Fraggles and Doozers and Gorgs
Start to appear on the screen.

Every day at four,
I laugh and sing and dance
With thoughts of joy and wonder.
Fraggle Rock is the remedy for a bright and happy day.

Lovingly yours,
MuppetMarc

Silliness about The Muppet Show...

The Muppets take the stage,
The curtain's on the rise.
Those men of advancing age
Just do not realize
This is the show of shows,
The greatest of the great.
The one with the hooked nose
Just ate another plate.
The band is playing now,
Their music big and loud.
The bear just took a bow
To a disappearing crowd.
The frog, in desperation,
Sends on the dancing cheese.
To the frog's near exclamation,
They cannot dance worth peas.
The dog, the pig, the go-fer, too
Watch the insanity unfold.
And now the eagle, all in blue,
Steps out simply to scold.
The show is almost over,
Oh, wow! The show's a hit!
So much for my four-leaf clover,
All's left is one happy cricket.

Okay, so it's not Shakespeare.

OMG, that was beautifully written indeed! And such a pleasure to have you back here on pretty much a regular basis!
BTW, Julia, do you mind other people using this thread? I used to write pretty good poetry... If I can't crank out a full story, perhaps I'll try a poem or two.
