Some of the muppet characters have personalities that are not too unlike their animal sources.

Kermit is a gentle, sensitive and caring muppet.Real frogs are pleasantly harmless animals who sing beautifully at night.

Miss Piggy's rough and tough obnoxious personality is not too much unlike that of a real pig.Though real pigs are highly intelligent(and actually among the cleanest animals),they can also be very agressive and can bite pretty bad.

Fozzie is an exception.Real bears can be very fierce and quite deadly. But not Fozzie. He's one of the gentlest muppets around.:embarrassed:

Also, ever hear the old phrase "noble as a frog"? Well...it applies here too.

Well, Animal is very Animal like. Hehe. No, seriously. He fits his name and counterpart (the wild animal) very nicely.

To this day I have always wondered what exactly Animal is supposed to be. I mean he is kind of human but not. He's like half man, half beast or something.:halo:

The Crocodile does a good job of being a stero-type that crocs can be deceiving and dangerous. In the Sandy Duncan episode he cruises about in a swamp full of frogs and sings his verse in a cocky and evil-sounding manner. Also when he sings with Big Mama and the Frackles he puts on the stero-type that crocodiles are eating machines. He even attempts to eat Kermit in "Disco Frog", doesn't he?
