Yeah, I heard about what happened with Josh. Any respect I once had for the guy is gone. Period.

I actually remember watching Josh's Muppet movie reviews back in 2013 when he was getting a couple hundred views. I noticed a few years ago that he was the guy running Muppet History, and I thought it was cool that he had gained such a large platform.

And then fast-forward to today, I was just completely shocked to hear that a Muppets fanpage of all things would be embroiled in this type of controversy, to the point where a few major outlets are even writing articles about it. The headline "Jim Henson’s Muppets Embroiled in Sexual Harassment Scandal" really annoys me, because this has absolutely nothing to do with Jim Henson or Muppets, just a fan on a power trip. Such dishonest journalism.

Just incredibly irresponsible conduct. I definitely lost respect for this guy. His posts weren't even anything that special, but I thought it was nice to have some vintage Muppet content represented on social media.

The thing that really gets to me about this situation is how this is will hurt the entire Muppet fandom. Like, I know one bad apple can't define a fandom, but I worry that that might actually happen.

If Sonic fans can separate themselves from Chris Chan, certainly we can overcome this.

Thanks Fragglemuppet, you're the first to at least recognize my worry. Good to know that we can still ring the bells this year with ConvincingJohn who started the tradition amongst the rest of the forum. :excited:

Yep, the bad guy is Josh G, Jon is Josh H I believe.

Yeah, thanks for bringing that up! I was going to look up the old thread to make sure I have the time right.

And I'm sorry no one here seems to notice anyone else here, especially we of the older generation.

Heh, we're the rarest of rare, old MC generation members, not as rare as original MC Delphi members but we've still got our group.

As for the time, I believe it's 9 PM CT/10 ET/11 local PR time for me. And this'd probably be considered thread hijacking, so I'll leave the number cookies for you and Snowth and anyone else who might want some.
