While we're on the subject, here's my favourite dynanic duo of muppeteers (or rather of their characters):

From The Muppet Show
Cowboy Jerry & Lou The Jugband Lady
Singin' Owl & Zelda Rose (Recording version of Who not the TMS version)

From Sesame Street:
Herry Monster & Louisey
Herry Monster & A Girl Who Needs Help
Al (of Al's Alphabet Garage) & A lady J Owner
Two beings for whom something always comes between them
The R&J couple in Monsterpiece's Theatre's Inside And Outside (West Side Story skit)

From Muppet Christmas Carol:
The Ghost Of Christmas Present & the first character to start singing with it in the number 'It Feels Like Christmas'

From The Secret Life Of Toys:
Bratty Rat & Raisin
Balthazar & Hortense

From Muppet Treasure Island
The tourist rats

Jerry and Richard were also that Muppet version of the two headed monster in the Ben Vereen episode, I think.

Yes, but it wasn't a monster, it was a whatnot.

I just thought of another Muppet performer dynamic duo:

Joey Mazzarino & David Rudman:
-The Two-Headed Monster
-Various duos in the 1990s Muppet Meeting Films

Who were chip and dip. I know Richard was one of them. Was it Jerry?

They were two cats who tormented Oscar the Grouch. And no, I believe Kevin Clash performed the other cat.

Speaking of which, I'm surprised no one mentioned Kevin Clash and Fran Brill being paired up:

Elmo & Zoe
Elmo & Prairie Dawn
Eliot Shag & Colleen Barker/Terri Springer

I think Chip and Dip ended up playing in Hoots' band.
