Grover: Well I had some fun. I got to see a cute cuddly kitty. *squeaks a stuffed animal cat*

HM: Are ya'll ready to go back to the dorm?

CM: Me not ready. Me still want cookies!

HM: Well we need to make up our minds.

Grover: Well I think we should go and show every one were we where.

HM: Ok. I think thats what were going to do. Lets pack.

Oh hi Aaron, let me open the door for you. Mokey and I already watched the special, but we can watch it again along with a few of my other Muppet VCD's if you like. Oh, by the by, did you hear about the Monsters? Seems they're coming back to the dorms soon. We'll probably have to lock up all the cookies and baked goods, and you know it'll be a competition between them and Rizzo again. Might have to ask Kyle to send his Halloween monsters back to their Netherworldly domain soon though. Well, come on in and let's watch some Muppets!

Ah, oh good to what? Well, the special's already in the DVD machine and ready to start. Just pull up that orange rotating chair in front of the computer and get ready to watch some Christmas magic.

Oh sorry, haven't posted a descript of our room cause I'm waiting for Scooter (MC) to do that by means of her drawings. Maybe I should post it myself. What do you think? Well, there's Kermit on the road to Frogtown Hollow, so the special's starting.

Hey guys,
Well, I made it through Yom Kippur. Not too bad, this year. I gotta admit, my family was a little easy-going, allowing my brothers and I to watch some Mr. Show-Season 3 (w/commentary), so it helped pass the time a little. We also slept as late as we could, so that helped. I did try to make as much use of the time, doing some reading, school catch-up and otherwise. Also nice to just all be together, and finish it off with a nice little family meal. I hope everything's going well at the dorm. Oh, Count, speaking about learning about each other, just wondering something, if it's ok. Since you ask for descriptions of toy images and the like, stating you're blind to some degree, I wanted to know how you can make out the text and keyboard and stuff, so well, in your many many posts, as well as appreciating all of the Muppetty goodness, whether shows, movies, specials, or even the figures when you actually have them, rather than just being images on a screen. Any simple explanation would be appreciated. Then again, if you don't feel like saying anything, totally understand, too. Take care and have a good fright.

You watch this one every Christmas, Aaron? Well, the two times I've watched this year, it's choked me up at certain parts. You know, it's probably best that the Monsters come back from Vegas. After all, we don't want Grover being the next victim of another vicious tiger mauling.

Oh hi, Squigiman, glad to know you made it through Yom Kippur all fright. So you want to know a little bit about myself given my degree of blindness, huh? Well, let's see what we can do.
1 As for typing on the keyboard, I took computer classes at my elementary school from 4th grade to 8th grade, and I've memorized the keyboard layout and developed good typing skills.
2 As for posting here on the forums, I have a screenreader program called Jaws for Windows made by Freedom Scientific, Inc., which reads whatever I've got on the screen or typing on the screen thanks to specific commands.
3 As for my degree of blindness, it rully didn't become a full-blown problem until about 1998, my third year at college undergrad level. Before that, I was classified as legally blind, but I still retained a fair amount of sight so as to see images on a TV screen. Did't make much internet use of my computer back then either.
4 As for appreciating the Palisades figures and all of my many PVC figurines, those I appreciate via my tactile senses, basically feeling the figures over. That's why I'd never be a MOC collector, cause I have to open up the packaging to get at the figure and welcome it into my hands to appreciate it fully.
5 As for various Muppet productions, I remember everything and what it looked like from when I still had better sight. True, I might not remember every last detail and I didn't learn to recognize it through verbal or textual descripts like the ones I ask for now, but I remember what the majority of the characters and things looked like. However, this doesn't extend to anything post MT and beyond.
Hope this helps clear up a few things you've been wondering and have a rully great haunted fright!

Yeah, my favorite son from the whole thing is "When the River Meets the Sea". That's one of the most moving/beautiful songs from the whole cannon I can think of, right up there with Bein' Green and the Rainbow Connection.

Well, I can see that there are stormclouds gathering around the dormhouse, just in time for the holidays. Better be careful and bring an umbrella, you never know when those clouds will decide to dump their rainy payload or strike with the force of lightning. Ah, such lovely lightning and thunder seen and heard around the dormhouse, it just makes me want to start counting out loud!
