Oh hi, Kyle. Well, sure hope you won't miss the Monsters for that long during the haunted holidays. After all, we're going to need those expert eaters for the party on the 31st of Shocktober. Hmmm, let me see. As of fright now the bats are hanging little paper bats from the ceilings of the dormhouse's hallways and the ghosts are strategically placing candles which will light themselves each night as soon as dusk falls and/or when the last light's been turned off. Who's available for possible dorm room bunking. Let me think, oh! There's always the skeleton who loves sleeping in a corner of the closet as a heap of dry old bones. And then there's the gremlin who hides inside your electrical equipment, just make sure not to feed him any disinformation from the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, it might think that the US is continuing its war in the desert against its Iraqi gremlin bretherend. (That's a joke from one of the show's episodes.) And of course there's the zombie and troll who prefer to just sleep beneath your bed and reach out for whoever's closest. Yeah, just let me know if there's anyone else you'd like to invite up to your room, at least until the real SS Monsters come back. Oh, and don't forget you're all invited to the party on the 31st!
Have a haunted night.
Think I'll hit the old sack or coffin as we Gothamites call it, and leave the movie for tomorrow's viewing.

Oh hi, Kyle. Well, I started reading through the Who Framed Kermit the Frog? reviews, but found that it was more of an exposition of ideas than an actual fan-fiction movie so I dropped it earlier this morning. That was about the same time the zombie crew finished installing the grand pipe organ upstairs in the Floor 3 common room. BTW, hope they didn't make too much of a fuss or a mess when they came into your room and went back to their netherworldly home through the portal beneath your bed. Me thinks they left one of their own behind to bunk with you while the real Monsters are away on their trip to Vegas. So, what other kind of creatures do you want haunting your room while you await your roommates return? A werewolf? Bogeyman? Banshee? Invisible Man? Or a Vanishing Woman? An Amphisbaena or Basilisk? A Yeti or Triton? Just let me know and I'll send them up to your room. Ah, but we'll need them back in the Netherworld after the Halloween holidays so as to not cause a true rampage nor persecution against them for their creepy customs.
Well, think I'll go watch The Black Cauldron and Emmet Otter back to back now. Hope this helps and have a haunted day!

Oh, and Kyle! *Managing to call him while still within earshot.*
If you find them, pick up a decent/good quality S5 Janice and Gonzo figures for me! Thanks!
Have a haunted day.

Hey gang,
Sorry for being out of things for so long. Didn't realize that this simple theoretical situation become a full-fledged RPG-type storyline. Anyways, just finished browsing through the 33 pages of stuff, and really appreciate the effort you guys have put into it, especially The Count. That's some dedication! Also, thanks for the cheeseburgers, though I had to take the cheese off, as it waouldn't be Kosher, otherwise. Won't matter, Monday, though as I can't eat ANYTHING. Too bad Gonzo invited Rizzo over. That should really put me to the test. Take care.

Oh hi Squigiman! Glad to see you back here in the dorms. You do know that you can cut down the number of pages each thread has by changing your personal viewing settings right? Heck, I've got it on 30 posts per page, and even that helps out better than going by the forum default setting.

But anyway, glad to have you back. How's everything down there in Room #5? It feels much better to have all the rooms down on Floor 1 numerically sequenced correctly, and have you and Gonzo just two doors down from Mokey's and my room. Oh, and it's great to find another guy who doesn't like cheeseburgers like myself. Me? Just can't dig the taste of most cheeses, though there are a few exceptions to the norm. Oh, and why can't you eat anything till Monday? Just trying to make some small talk and try to get more people involved in this thread again. Oh, and if you think I've shown dedication/interest/participation with this thread, you should go over to Scooter (MC)'s website and check out the drawings she managed to make of the dormhouse so far.
Well, hope this helps and have a haunted day!

Hey Count,
As I mentioned quickly, part of the reason I don't eat cheeseburgers is because mixing meat (from a cow) with dairy is not Kosher. Either way, I don't think I'd like it, though I am a fan of cheese, on its own. At my (other) college, a cheese club was actually started, and I was introduced to new varieties I'd never experienced, before. I really like this one brand of Brie, especially on French bread. Havarti with Jalapeno is really good, too. I stay away from Yolanda, of course, as Gonzo wouldn't appreciate finding a chunk of her missing, one day. Otherwise, we get along really well, spending our days with various weird activities. Ya know, bungee-jumping from a first-story window by a loose piece of yarn from a sweater depicting Picasso's Guernica, while listening to Luciano Pavoratti, and the like. Oh, about Monday, it's Yom Kippur, the highest of Jewish holidays, and the day of atonement for all of the sins of the previous year (as Rosh Hashanah just began the new one). To atone, you can't eat or drink, or pretty much do anything entertaining. No tv, no video games, no internet, no music, no nothing. It actually goes from Sunday night to Monday night, so I can still eat, for the time being. Wish me luck. Take care, and have a good fright.

Oh thanks for the groceries Kyle. Yeah, canned goods are mostly good, green beans with corn and peas and a dab of mayo make for a great salad. And if we have to, the seaweed goes straight to Lanford, either his pot or his tummy.
Well, I thought or rather heard the zombie say his name was Tombs, but it's rully your call. Just don't call him Shirley or he'll turn mean, meaner than usual that is.

Wow, aska simple question and learn a lot about a guy! Thanks for sharing Squigiman 'bout your background. Me, I was raised Catholic/Christian, but nowadays I think of myself as a pantheist. That means, basically, I believe in everything; or rather everything which I choose to believe in. Still remember a funny joke about Yom Kippur. That's the one day when people of Jewish or Hebrew wipe away their sins, like a clean slate. Christians? They have to go through Lent, that's 40 days of repentance. Even in sin you're paying retail! (That one's from Jon Stewart from Comics Come Home 1.)
Well, wish you luck, you have my sympathy and pity. Let's just cross our fingers you make it, oh no, wait, no crosses please.
Hope this helps and have a good fright as well.
