Beth: Me too, should we go shopping today?
Wanda: Sure! Stores are already having sales on summer clothes
Beth: No kidding, gotta make room for winter clothes.
*Red goes to clean the pool, Beth and Wanda go shopping and Abby and Mokey happily stay behind engrossed in a storybook together*

Beige: (coming back from lobby) You can never find a bus when you need one. (sees others clanking around in kitchen) And what's this?
Nora: Well, it's summer now, you see...
Scooter: Yeah, the ice cream maker's coming out of storage.
Erin: (checking controls on maker) So what should we do for the first batch of the season?
Storyteller: Start with a plain vanilla and work up to something more exotic.
Beige: Aw, that's no fun. Let's do something loaded with chocolate.
Nora: No, we've always started off with a sorbet in the past.
Scooter: (checking the fridge) It'll have to be a sorbet. We don't have any cream.
Erin: Okay...let's see...well, we've got some mangoes and oranges that need to be used up.
Storyteller: Good...all right, let's get to it. And peel those mangoes over a sink, please.

Alex: *sneaks into Claudia's room and kidnaps Beaker*

Sweetums: *sitting in his chair, reading "Crime and Punishment"* You better not be getting into trouble....

Alex: *hand over Beaker's mouth* Who? Me? Never. *gives Beaker a tranquilizer* This will just last through the night, that way we don't have any trouble.

Floyd: *locks the door and goes to bed*

Sweetums: *sets down his book and leaves to tuck Bean in*

Alex: *lays Beaker on the couch, staring at him and stroking his firey hair* .......................................... It's allright now...................... you're safe here. *continues to stroke his hair, looming ominously over him* Sleep well, darling. We'll be together soon...............

The lights go out. Alex goes back into the shadows, most likely to watch over her captive without being seen. Seen by whom, I don't know.
