Prairie:Yeah....snow is awful! On a different subject though...Red told me that Beth's grandma is home from the hospital!

Raining huh? Well as long as there's plenty of thunderclaps for us to count and lovely lightningbolts to try to see, that'll cheer me all fright. Had issues earlier this morning and I got a Friday make-up class, that's a class that's being added to the schedule.
A good thunderstorm with plenty of lightning never fails to put a smile on my face, no matter how plain OK or mildly glum I'm feeling.

Dee: <putting my wet things in the corner of the room> Hi guys,I bought some food,just to stock the fridge up.I'm going to make chili(promise you it won't be hot);with beans,fresh rotiss. chicken and ground beef.My aunt sent me home early,the roads are pretty clear & the salt trucks are doing a good job so far,lol(its still snowing,yuck).Yeah,my aunt,is going to Atlantic City for her birthday;she travels so much.She's going to Aruba 3 times this year & to Africa(to visit her daughter,who just moved there with a friend).

Hey everyone, hope all is well! Not much rain here, but more snow! We had such a snowless winter until this week.
Red: Are we going to play in the snow again?
Me: Not today, I have to run that after school program for the kids again
Red: Thats right, it's Thursday. How often do you have it?
Me: Every Tuesday and Thursday. They come to our youth room and play pool and other games
Red: Sounds fun!
Me: it would be, but some junior high kids are difficult to deal with
Red: Well at least it's almost the weekend!
Me: yeah!
Red: well, I hope you have a good afternoon.

Me:Yeesh....junior high kids. I feel your pain Beth .Some kids develop bad attitudes around that time.
Junior high was the worst for me & I got treated basically like the garbage in Oscar's can.(I have another description, but it'd get my post ripped off the board if you catch my drift.)

*Meets Scooters Girl. Oh hello, are you interested in becoming a new boarder here at the dorms? Well, who'd you want as your roomies? Scooter and Janice huh? Well, sorry to say but they're already taken by other boarders here in the dorms. Me: Putting together a few items for Prairie Dawn. She has a cold.
Red: That's too bad! What are you putting together for her?
Me: A box of kleenex, bottle of orange juice, zinc lozanges (they really help if you take them early) and some cookies, cause no matter how sick you are, cookies really help.
Red: Let's put a little card on it "Prairie: Hope you feel better soon, from your buddies in room 3"
Me: Great!
Red: How were the kids today?
Me: obnoxious as usual, but not as bad as some days!
Red: Hey, did you hear we might have a new person here at the dorms?
Me: No I didn't, who are they?

Me: Well, I can't wait to meet them and see who they live with! I'm going to go leave this care package for Prairie *goes down hall and leaves by room 6 then goes back to room 3*
Red: was she there?
Me: I just left it outside the door. I thought she might be sleeping. I'm sure if she doesn't find it, Kathy will.
Red: Good. Would you like to play a card game?
Me: Ooh, let's play cribbage!
