<Leyla, Hilda, Wanda, Jimmy and even the deactivated Robot Kermit are lined up in front of the door to their rooms waiting for their guests to arrive.>
Leyla: Okay. Breathe. Just stand and breathe, that's all you have to do. Maybe blink occasionally. It'll be fun. It'll be great. Try not to faint.
Hilda: Oh my goodness. Leyla, you worry too much, far too much! It will be fine! I'm sure they'll be as happy to be here as we are to have them.
Wanda: <crankily> Happier.
Leyla: Behave yourself. <to Hilda> I know they will. I just love being their neighbour, almost as much as I love being your roomie! <she ruffles Wanda's hair affectionately, being careful to restore it to good order> But... it's just... it's Kermit and Piggy and Fozzie! I mean... wow.
Hilda: <amused> Yes. And you're not a fangirl.
Jimmy: What is a fangirl anyway?
<The girls responses are cut of by a knock and and a cheerful voice>
Kermit: Hello? Anybody home?
Fozzie: Oh, I hope they didn't forget about us!
Piggy: They'd better not have.
Kermit: No one has ever managed to forget about you, Piggy.
Piggy: <brightly> Why thank you, Kermie!
Fozzie: Um... should it take this long to open a door?
<Leyla is staring, frozen, at the still closed door>
Wanda: Um... Leyla? Are you gonna let them in?
Jimmy: Maye she's waiting for the frog to do it.
Wanda: Well, he's broken. He never does anything!
Hilda: This is silly. Leyla, wake up! <she gives Leyla a firm jab in the side before opening the door herself.>
Fozzie: Well, where are we going to sleep if- oh! Um, hello?
Piggy: <striding in quickly dragging an expansive suitcase behind her> About time!
Kermit: Piggy, you promised.
Piggy: <impatient sigh> Oh, alright. For Catherine.
Leyla: <coming out her daze> Ah, hi! Welcome, welcome! Come on in! It's a pleasure! Can I help you with that, Miss Piggy?
Wanda: <quietly> I doubt it.
Piggy: <sharply> What was that?
Leyla: Oh, um... she didn't say anything! Let me just take that to your room, Miss Piggy!
Kermit: Isn't that nice of her, Piggy?
Piggy: Oh, yes, of course!
Kermit: It's really very sweet of you to take us in like this! We're going to miss Catherine so it's nice to have a little extra company.
Leyla: <struggling cheerfully with Piggy's completely unnecessary suitcase> Oh, yes, I miss her too, and you know, Lisa's away for a while as well, so it's sort of a lonely weekend all told. But, really, we're so glad you're here. Let me get this away and we'll have tea and cookies in the kitchen, chat a bit.
Kermit: Oh, that sounds wonderful! C'mon, Fozzie, don't just wait by the door.
Leyla: I flavoured the cookies with honey for you, Fozzie dear, so don't be a stranger! <giggles> We have enough strangeness around here, anyway!
Fozzie: Oh...that's a good one! Haaa!! Honey cookies, you say?
Piggy: <hesitating, taking a long look at Robot Kermit> You... have a statue of Kermit?
Jimmy<sidling up to Piggy and instantly annoying her>: Nah, that's a robot someone shoved into a closet for some reason. He don't say much, or get out much... real peacable guy.
Piggy: <eyes narrowed> I wonder who could have shoved it in that closet... and why they ever brought it out again.
Leyla: <returning from Piggy's, formerly Wanda's, room> I did. I've had good luck taking people out of closets recently. Cookies?
